Locally Made Craft Ales & Lagers

Our beers are currently available on draft at our brew pub in Tahoe City (8 taps). Our brewery in Truckee (15 taps) will be opening to the public soon. Check back here for details on our scheduled opening date. We also keg and distribute our beers to locations around Tahoe and Truckee. We do not bottle any beer at this time.

Hop Song IPA - 6.4% ABV     55 IBU
The hops in a good IPA are composed like a song and we made this one to rock you like a hurricane. A slightly lighter malt to let the hops shine thru, we use 4 bittering hops and balance it with Citra hops as a dry hop in our conditioning tank for an aromatic citrus nose.

Hopped Up Monk - 10% ABV     78 IBU
For this twist on a traditional belgian-style dark ale, we use the actual yeast from a famous trappist brewery in Belgium. The daring complexity of this beer is unique and began many years ago as a tried and true signature homebrew recipe of our owner.

Hop Dragon Double IPA – 9.8% ABV     100 IBU
Chase The Dragon. This Imperial IPA is our most sought after brew. Hop Dragon is bursting with hop character, yet remains smooth with a delicately balanced amount of bitterness. If you like to travel the west coast DIPA trail, don't miss this one.

Paddleboard Pale Ale - 5.0% ABV    45 IBU
Our take on the California classic. This smooth pale has a traditional grain bill with a very non-traditional group of hops. Pacific Jade, Kohatu and other aromatic hops blend together to bring a pleasant pale. This beer recently won a bronze medal at the 2013 West Coast Beer Fest.

Wilde Haar Weizen - 4.8% ABV    18 IBU
A traditional Hefeweizen in the style of Northern Germany. A wheat beer with a bit of yeast still in suspension for the signature clove and banana flavors and aromas of a Hefe on a crisp, light and refreshing malt base.

Ranch Dog Red Ale - 7.0% ABV    52 IBU
An intense mahogany red ale with a solid bittering backbone of 4 different hops, later dry hopped to perfection in our conditioning tanks.

Local Lager- 4.8% ABV     18 IBU
A crisp, clean, easy drinking lager. Unlike most mass produced commercial lagers, this craft lager is all grain with no corn or rice added. We take pride in presenting a low hopped, light, easy drinking beer made in the tradition of an old American Lager. For the local and weekend warrior alike!

Sugar Pine Porter – 6.0% ABV     25 IBU
An instant favorite with the brewers and staff! Our take on this classic recipe brings forward sweet, velvet chocolate and toffee notes, backed by a roasted coffee aroma. Sugar Pine Porter makes a great sipper on cold winter days or cool summer nights.
